General Rotation Information
GENERAL ROTATION INFO
-The majority of the time you will be shadowing derm residents. They are only given 1 room so depending on room with one designated MA, so pending availability and permission from attendings you may be able to see patients on your own (or see them first while residents working on notes in between patients). You can also ask the resident you are with to help with procedures. Be sure to ask good questions!
-Do not miss FHC for ICC, it can be done during another activity (eg, one of the derm clinics) if necessary.

-Absence- please review the policy on the website if you are calling in sick (must notify Dr. Richman, Katia Estevez, anyone you are scheduled to work with that day from Dermatology, call the Farrell sick line if missing Farrell time and complete the qualtrics form.

American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) has educational materials, videos, ppts. Need to register for username. https://www.aad.org/ Under "Member Resources and Programs" then under "Residents and Fellows" choose "Online Learning Center". Filter online learning center by searching for "Basic Dermatology Curriculum." There are options to choose courses from 2-4 weeks to give you a schedule of the modules to do daily. Or you can choose "All Modules" to choose from a list.
